Job summary

Elbit Systems of America in Roanoke, Virginia, is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to join our Electronics Design Group. The role focuses on micro power supply design, analog circuitry, and embedded systems, reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager.

The successful candidate will lead PCB design from concept to production, with experience in low‑power devices, SPICE/ANSYS, and debugging complex hardware and firmware systems. A DOD clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or closely related field required.
• 6+ years of experience in electrical design and embedded systems.
• Experience with micro‑PCB design, low power, EMI filtering and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of new electronic PCBs from concept to production for low‑power devices.
• Prepare proposals, circuit analysis, and board layout concepts.
• Supervise mechanical design and mentor technicians and interns.
• Perform stress/reliability analysis and component de‑rating.
• Create and maintain product documentation.
