Job summary

Hunter Recruiting seeks an Electronics Engineer to support production, testing, and engineering activities for aerospace electronic assemblies. This role emphasizes troubleshooting, manufacturing support, and continuous improvement within a regulated environment.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years of experience, with hands-on lab skills and Cadence CAD familiarity. Occasional travel (<5%) and collaboration on domestic/international projects are expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in electronics design, manufacturing, or assembly within a regulated industry.
  • Experience with troubleshooting manufacturing and assembly defects.
  • Familiarity with MRB processing and non-conforming product investigations.
  • Experience using electrical lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and function generators.
  • Experience with Cadence Schematic/Allegro Layout or similar CAD software.
  • Understanding of measuring equipment, drawing interpretation, and GD&T.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in an electronics production environment or with electrical assemblies is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and resolve issues for aerospace electronic products.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers during the production process.
  • Analyze troubleshooting trends and first-pass yield data to support product improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement and maintain safe work practices.
  • Assist with additional engineering and production activities as needed.
  • Occasionally work evenings/weekends and travel domestically or internationally (<5%).
