Job summary

IAPMO Group is partnering with a defense customer to hire an Electronic Warfare/Radiofrequency Systems Maintenance Engineer at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. The role focuses on post-production evaluation, testing, and validation of RF/EW systems to ensure performance and readiness.

Daily tasks include developing maintenance strategies, RAM analyses, LORA assessments, and coordinating with engineering, logistics, and OEM teams to resolve issues and sustain lifecycle readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Can be substituted for prior military experience or additional years of relevant working experience)
• Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance required
• 5+ years of experience as an Electronic Warfare Engineer
• RAM, Availability, and Maintainability analysis including MTBF/MTTR
• Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis, PQDRs, tech docs, BOMs for system readiness

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance and sustainment strategies for fielded EW systems to maximize readiness and lifecycle performance
• Perform RAM analyses and track MTBF/MTTR to identify reliability trends and corrective actions
• Conduct LORA to optimize repair/replacement and maintenance approaches
• Investigate equipment failures, review PQDRs, coordinate with engineering/logistics/OEM teams
• Create and maintain technical manuals, maintenance procedures, BOMs, and sustainment docs
