Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Electronic Warfare, Sr. Associate, Systems Engineering in Clifton, NJ. You will design, develop, integrate, and test advanced electronic systems for EW, ESM, and ELINT programs, partnering with multiple engineering teams.

The role emphasizes RF systems expertise, algorithm development, and the ability to work with customers and government programs. Willingness to travel up to 10% and to obtain higher clearances as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
• Active security clearance, minimum Secret Level

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently or with general supervision
• Strives for improvement and continuous development, candidates should want to increase their knowledge base and look for growth opportunities
• Recommendations for process or practice improvement within the Systems Engineering Organization
• Communication within Systems Engineering and across other engineering disciplines
• Experience with requirements management and requirements management tools. (IBM Rational DOORS and/or JAMA)
• Support/lead integration and test of electronic systems and related hardware/software/firmware subsystems/sub-components/products
• Support/lead data analysis and modeling and simulation to find underlying root cause of issue and/or to guide design
• Present work to multi-disciplinary team and internal/external customers
• Ability to obtain higher levels as necessary
• Potential travel required depending on program assignments – 10%
