Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks an Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems Engineer to contribute to the lifecycle support of EW systems from concept through retirement. You will perform requirements analysis, document systems, supervise design activities, and support build/test and deployment efforts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience (or a graduate degree with 4+ years) and a DoD security clearance. Travel 20-40% to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with 4+ years; or 10 years without degree.
• DoD security clearance currently held.
• Experience in system-level development, requirements definition, analysis, and risk mitigation for EW systems.
• Willingness and ability to travel 20-40% to customer and subcontractor sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting technical tasks in a focused, high-productivity environment.
• Manage requirements with traceability from verification matrix to customer and system-level requirements.
• Develop technical specifications, interface control documents, test plans and procedures.
• Ensure technical performance, quality, and adherence to schedule.
• Follow processes in conformance with policies and objectives.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Travel 20-40% to customer and subcontractor sites.
