Job summary

M.C. Dean in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Systems Tech Specialist 3 to design and validate scalable security solutions for complex customer environments.

You will translate customer needs into system designs and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy at scale. Responsibilities cover evaluating technologies in access control, CCTV, intrusion, biometrics, and more; leading lab testing, writing technical guides, and providing training.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of EPMS, BMS, Industrial instrumentation and/or SCADA systems.
• 10+ years of experience with a High School Diploma; 8+ years with an Associate's.
• Reliability in attending customer sites during work hours.

Responsibilities

• Identify candidate technologies based on customer needs and requirements.
• Evaluate solutions against defined requirements and industry best practices.
• Design, sustain, and provide technical support for deployed security systems.
• Develop procedures to validate system configuration, data input and migration.
• Write high quality documentation for system standards and operations.
• Provide training on deployed security systems to cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address privacy, security, and scalability concerns.
• Define standards with installation and deployment teams and improve system features.
• Continuously re‑evaluate systems in light of new technologies and changes.
