Job summary

Belcan seeks an experienced Electronic Lab Technician IV to act as a senior technical expert in the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electronic systems. This role leads advanced laboratory projects, develops testing methodologies, and mentors junior technicians.

The position offers collaboration with engineers, scientists, and cross-functional teams to drive innovative electronic design and testing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years in a lab/technical environment focused on electronic design and testing.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Proficiency with spectrum and network analyzers.
• Ability to mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex electronic systems and components, providing guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct advanced research, experimentation, and evaluation of emerging electronic technologies.
• Develop and implement sophisticated test procedures and protocols to evaluate performance, reliability, and functionality.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of complex electronic circuits and systems.
• Diagnose technical issues and implement effective corrective solutions.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior laboratory technicians.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Evaluate and improve electronic design, testing, and laboratory processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in electronic design and testing.
