Job summary

Qualifications

• US citizenship and active Top-Secret clearance.
• Over 20 years hands-on electronics technician experience.
• Minimum 3 years in weapon disassembly, integration, repair, and assembly.
• Experience with electro-optical and RF test equipment.
• Ability to design and analyze analog circuits for test data collection.
• Ability to interpret test data to assess accuracy.
• Experience handling hazardous test articles.
• Proficient in electronic assembly, soldering, crimping, splicing, cable fabrication, PCB population and rework.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and test mechanical and electrical system components per drawings and procedures.
• Provide guidance on disassembly/reassembly of test articles.
• Fabricate, assemble, install, repair, modify, test, operate, and troubleshoot electrical modules and wire harnesses.

Successful candidates will be quality-focused with experience designing, installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing various mechanical and electronic systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and DoD regulations. Candidate must be a team player with the ability to multitask across several projects. **Key Responsibilities:*** Assemble, integrate, and test non-inert mechanical and electrical system components per engineering drawings and procedures* Provide guidance on test article disassembly and reassembly procedures based upon experience with similar test articles* Fabricate, assemble, install, repair, modify, test, operate, and troubleshoot electrical modules, components, and wire harnesses* Operate specialized test equipment and machinery to characterize test articles* Follow Electronic Static Discharge prevention (ESD) practices* Inspect finished products for conformance to specifications* Work from written and verbal instructions* Provide support across multiple projects simultaneously* Collaborate with engineers and technicians to achieve project objectives* Maintain detailed records of all troubleshooting, assembly, disassembly, and repair procedures* Generate delivery-quality documentation to document best practices and procedures* Execute responsibilities in both laboratory and field environments **Required Qualifications:*** US Citizenship with an active Top-Secret clearance* 20+ years of hands-on experience as an electronics technician.
