Job summary

Radiance Technologies, an employee-owned defense contractor, seeks a Senior Electromechanical Specialist to support the Scientific and Technical Intelligence Group. You will design, install, test, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electronic systems in accordance with DoD regulations; candidates must be a team player capable of multitasking across projects.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with an active Top-Secret clearance.
• 20+ years hands-on electronics experience; 3+ years weapon disassembly/assembly/repair.
• Experience operating electro-optical and RF test equipment in lab and field.
• Ability to design and analyze analog circuits for test data collection.
• Ability to interpret test data to assess accuracy of results.
• Experience handling and transporting hazardous test articles.
• Proficiency in electronic assembly, soldering, crimping, splicing, cable fabrication, PCB population, PCB rework, and control panel building.
• Ability to work independently to meet project deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and test mechanical and electrical system components.
• Guide test article disassembly/reassembly procedures.
• Fabricate, assemble, install, repair, modify, test, and troubleshoot electrical modules and wire harnesses.
• Operate specialized test equipment to characterize test articles.
• Follow ESD practices and inspect finished products for spec conformance.
• Work from written and verbal instructions across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to achieve objectives.
• Maintain detailed records of troubleshooting and assembly procedures.
• Generate documentation of best practices and procedures.
• Perform duties in lab and field environments.
