Job summary

R.E. Darling Co., Inc. is seeking a Senior Electromechanical Maintenance Technician (Multi-Craft) in Tucson, AZ to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve facility and production equipment.

This hourly, on-site role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and requires strong mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation skills with a focus on safety and reliability. Qualifications

• 7-10 years of industrial maintenance experience; strong in mechanical systems and basic electrical (three-phase).
• Proficient in instrumentation or I&E; able to read manuals, blueprints, and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
• Able to safely work around hazardous chemicals with required PPE; certifications in HVAC, Welding, Electrical, or Instrumentation are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Install or relocate equipment and utilities (water, air, steam, electrical, hydraulics, vacuum)
• Identify issues and perform repairs or extensions as needed
• Support production needs and adjust priorities to minimize downtime
• Maintain CMMS records using tablets and electronic devices
• Practice safe work habits and PPE usage
• Collaborate with mechanics or operators as needed
• Lead or guide junior staff as required
