Job summary

Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics in Wichita, KS, seeks an Engineering Manager to plan, lead, and deliver new electro-mechanical product development projects from concept through production and ongoing support.

You will guide cross-functional teams, drive schedules and budgets, ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met, and mentor direct reports while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 10 years designing and/or managing development of electro-mechanical products.
• Minimum 5 years managing direct reports.
• Experience managing product development in a regulated industry.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using design, ERP, and project management software tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail; organized and results oriented.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
