Job summary

The role covers architecture development, detailed design, and production support, with emphasis on linear motion, control theory, and closed-loop performance across the full lifecycle. Strong collaboration across engineering teams is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of mechanical engineering experience, or 7+ with graduate degree.
• Security clearance required or ability to obtain U.S. Secret clearance.
• Experience designing high-reliability electromechanical actuation systems for aerospace or defense.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of electromechanical actuation systems for aerospace and defense platforms.
• Translate requirements into actuation architectures and producible hardware.
• Perform concept development, sizing analyses, and trade studies.
• Develop 3D CAD models and engineering definition packages.
• Lead verification testing, qualification testing, and root-cause investigations.
