Job summary

PsiQuantum is seeking a Senior Validation Engineer to develop and implement validation methods for electro-optical subsystems. You will supervise manufacturing builds, debug issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to characterize new designs and validate performance.

The role requires strong experience with optical/electrical test equipment, Python programming, and FPGA interfacing. A background in EDVT & Fast Fail methodology is a plus, with a focus on robust validation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or physical science; 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with optical and electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, optical spectrum analyzers).
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with EDVT & Fast Fail methodology.
• Ability to develop test methods and calibration algorithms.
• Experience programming CPUs to interface with FPGAs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and integrate electro-optical designs, including PCBA and optical assemblies.
• Write validation plans and design experiments to characterize new designs and validate performance.
• Supervise validation efforts, analyze data, and report on yields and issues to the operations team.
