Job summary

Dematic Corp. seeks an Electro-Mechanical Tech Level III at the Fishkill, NY location. The role covers fault resolution, preventive maintenance, and systems operations for MHE, SRM Cranes, Dematic Multi-Shuttle, and conveyors.

Night shifts are 6:00pm–4:30am, with possible overtime. You will mentor junior staff, document maintenance activities, and collaborate across departments to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; vocational training is advantageous.
• 2-3 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
• Proven experience in the area of responsibility and demonstrated performance as described above.
• Ability to lift and move material up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking and lubrication.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
• Build and close work orders into the asset management system with detailed data.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and determine resources needed to resolve them.
• Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure specifications.
• Respond to service calls and address equipment failures and faults.
• Identify problems and take appropriate steps to tackle them.
