Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Tech Level III for our Fishkill, NY location to fault resolve, troubleshoot MHE, perform preventative maintenance, and mentor junior staff on shift. You will work (4) 10-hour nights with potential overtime, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating in varied environments.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on maintenance, and collaboration across teams to ensure reliable system performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; associate degree advantageous.
• 2-3 years' electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work 10–12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking and lubrication.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
• Build and close work orders with detailed data in the asset management system.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and determine resources needed to resolve them.
• Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to meet specifications.
• Respond to service calls and address equipment faults.
• Identify problems and take corrective steps.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across the organization.
