Job summary

Kion Group AG is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 4 to troubleshoot and maintain Dematic DMS and conveyor systems at the Jefferson, GA site. This senior role mentors junior staff and leads day-to-day maintenance across all installed equipment, with a Sunday-Thursday night shift and potential overtime.

The position requires a high school diploma (associate degree helpful) and 5–7 years of technical experience, strong customer communication, and the ability to handle heavy lifting

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of technical or specialty area experience.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to lead onsite maintenance projects and teams.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking and lubrication.
• Perform preventative maintenance routines and ensure efficient equipment performance.
• Apply electrical test equipment to diagnose and repair circuitry.
• Document labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts in the asset management system.
• Lead spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.
• Provide training to customers on operating equipment.
