Dematic is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level4 at the Ocala, FL site to perform day‑to‑day troubleshooting and preventive/predictive maintenance on the conveyor system. This senior role involves mentoring lower‑level technicians and supporting on‑site leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of technical experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to lead projects and teams, with preferred specialized training or certifications.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or vocational/technical training preferred.
• Demonstrated senior‑level knowledge with 5‑7 years of experience in a technical or specialty area.
• Proven experience in the areas of responsibility and successful completion of key tasks listed above.
• Customer‑facing communication skills through email and in‑person conversations with onsite leadership, company leadership, and technicians.
• Experience leading projects, teams, and directing day‑to‑day operations and tasks for an on‑site maintenance team.
• Specialized skill training or certifications preferred.

Aufgaben

• Repair and maintenance of material handling equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and lubrication.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot circuitry.
• Create and close work orders in the asset management system with appropriate data (labor hours, equipment maintenance, parts used).
• Troubleshoot conveyance problems and determine resources needed to resolve them.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Perform complex maintenance and testing to ensure equipment meets specifications.
• Aid in training customers to operate equipment.
• Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
• Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.
