Job summary

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is hiring a Senior Electro-Mechanical Repair Specialist to support our customer in Dahlgren, VA.

The role emphasizes maintenance, repair, and installation of hardware with circuit-level troubleshooting and the fabrication of custom cables. Candidates must have at least 3 years of electro-mechanical equipment experience, be able to read schematics, travel CONUS, lift up to 50 lbs, and obtain required certifications within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of general maintenance and repair experience in computer based electro-mechanical equipment.
• Must be able to solder multi-layer circuit cards, cables, and connectors.
• Ability to travel CONUS for work assignments.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Must obtain the required certifications within 90 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and install hardware.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues down to circuit board level.
• Travel (CONUS) as needed.
• Follow procedures for equipment at component, chassis, or system level.
• Research Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) material.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and crawl under raised flooring to set up wires.
