Highbrow Technology Inc in Sunnyvale, CA seeks an experienced Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer to lead validation, verification and reliability testing of electro-mechanical products.

You will develop and execute mechanical test plans, design custom test fixtures, calibrate sensors, and automate tests using Python. Strong background in metrology, GD&T and data analysis is essential for delivering durable, high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years in electro-mechanical engineering focusing on validation/reliability.
• Experience with drop, vibration, environmental, and accelerated tests.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation and data analysis.
• Ability to design test fixtures and instrumented rigs.
• Experience with DAQ systems and sensor conditioning.
• Knowledge of GD&T and metrology equipment.
• DOE, Weibull, sample size justification, and SPC experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute mechanical validation and reliability test plans.
• Define test procedures, acceptance criteria, and performance metrics.
• Design, build, and validate test fixtures and instrumented rigs.
• Select, mount, and calibrate sensors; assess measurement uncertainty.
• Develop Python scripts for test automation and data analysis.
• Work with DAQ hardware, I/O, interfaces, and motion control systems.
• Interpret mechanical drawings and apply GD&T; perform metrology inspections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify failure modes and improve reliability.
