Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a permanent, full-time Senior Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician in Southfield, MI to build complex machinery with precision using hand and power tools. You will translate blueprints, assemble subassemblies, and perform basic panel wiring for integrated systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting fit/alignment issues, inspecting final assemblies, and providing build status updates to customers while supporting routine shop maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or automotive environments.
• Experience in mechanical and machine assembly from subassemblies to final integration.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Clear communication and strong math/computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex mechanical systems and machinery using hand/power tools.
• Complete basic panel wiring to integrate motors, sensors, and related components.
• Translate blueprints and drawings into accurate, on-spec builds.
• Troubleshoot assembly problems, resolving fit/alignment issues.
• Inspect finished assemblies for quality before handoff.
• Share build status updates with customers and confirm requirements.
• Assist with routine maintenance and general shop support.
