Job summary

HYTORC is seeking an experienced Assembler in New Jersey to join our electro-mechanical assembly team. You will assemble and test systems, subassemblies, and components per engineering drawings, calibrate tools, and document results with precision.

Strong troubleshooting and blueprint-reading skills are essential to meet deadlines and quality standards. The role requires 3–5 years in electro-mechanical assembly, high school diploma, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in electro-mechanical assembly or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints and instructions.
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly (IPC-JSTD-001 preferred).
• Familiarity with tools/equipment used in assembly such as multimeters and torque wrenches.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently; good communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and basic computer skills for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electro-mechanical systems, subassemblies, and components per specs.
• Perform assembly of subassemblies or sales products.
• Conduct functional tests to ensure performance meets quality/customer requirements.
• Perform self-inspections and follow quality control procedures.
• Identify and report design, assembly, or quality issues to engineering/quality teams.
• Inspect and test assemblies to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Calibrate tools (battery guns, hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical) and print calibration certificates.
• Document assembly processes and test results, including modifications.
• Book orders accurately and document all tasks.
• Perform wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly with precision.
• Read blueprints and technical documents to guide assembly processes.
• Use hand/power tools and measuring devices safely and effectively.
• Package completed tools/products for transportation and storage.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure flow.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S and safety standards.
• Contribute to inventory control and material handling as required.
