Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a licensed Electrician to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team in the Tysons, Virginia area. You will install, integrate, and maintain electronic security and electrical systems for federal, local, and commercial clients.

The role requires four years in the electrical field, a valid Journeyman license, and the ability to travel up to 50%. A background check and drug test are mandatory, with overtime and shift flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of electrical industry experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Install basic electrical equipment and systems per plans and codes.
• Install and mount electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.
• Test electrical systems and continuity with testing devices.
• Inspect sites, study drawings to determine materials and procedures.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and locate faults for corrective action.
• Read contract drawings and support EMS, access control, CCTV systems implementations.
