Job summary

Allied Electric, Inc in the United States is seeking an Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on diverse industrial and commercial projects. You will read blueprints, test systems, and ensure safety and code compliance while mentoring apprentices.

The ideal candidate has a strong electrical background, hands-on problem solving, and shows leadership on job sites; travel may be required and teamwork is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Electrician license preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience in a commercial or industrial setting.
• OSHA 10-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install feeder and branch conduit and wiring.
• Configure electrical systems including switchgear, MCCs, panels, alarms, conveyors, lighting, and power distribution.
• Troubleshoot transformers, motors, panels, circuits, and related systems.
• Test electrical systems for safety and compliance.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams (MEP, architectural, wiring diagrams).
• Train apprentice electricians and assist with supervision.
• Identify opportunities for prefabrication to improve efficiency.
