Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking an Electrician Advanced (IV) for the night shift to maintain and optimize manufacturing electrical automation and control systems. You will mentor Electrician II and III, tackle advanced troubleshooting, and contribute to continuous improvement across the facility.

Responsibilities include leading proactive maintenance, updating schematics, and ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Electrician Senior Intermediate (III) requirements.
• Experience in electrical manufacturing and advanced troubleshooting in industrial systems.
• Experience with PLC programming and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize electrical automation and control systems.
• Lead troubleshooting for complex electrical, mechanical, process, and product-related issues; identify root causes.
• Update electrical schematics and documentation; develop proactive maintenance plans.
• Execute work orders for plant projects, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Mentor Electrician II and III; support Electrician Master team members.
