Job summary

Shaw Industries in Calhoun, GA is seeking an Electrician Advanced IV for the night shift to maintain and optimize electrical automation and control systems across the plant. This senior technician will mentor Electrician II/III, lead complex troubleshooting, and develop proactive maintenance plans while driving continuous improvement and ensuring high equipment performance.

The role requires reading detailed schematics, PLC programming, and strict adherence to OSHA, NEC, and NFPA 70E safety

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Electrician Senior Intermediate (III) status preferred.
Completion of Electrician Senior Intermediate (III) requirements and demonstrated advanced troubleshooting in industrial electrical systems.
Experience with PLC programming and automation systems is required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain & optimize Electrical Automation and Control Systems across the plant.
Lead troubleshooting for complex electrical, mechanical, process, and product-related issues.
Develop and execute proactive maintenance plans and PdM strategies.
Mentor Electrician II/III, support upgrades and system changes.
Update electrical schematics and documentation accurately and promptly.
Support plant projects and process improvements.
