Job summary

Hyve Solutions seeks an experienced Electrical Test Engineer V to validate performance and reliability of server and storage solutions. You will design advanced electrical test plans, lead root-cause analysis, and collaborate across design, manufacturing, and quality teams. Proficiency in Python/C++/LabVIEW for test automation is required.

You will develop reports, select equipment, mentor junior staff, and stay ahead of industry testing methodologies to ensure robust product qualification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical testing, validation, and debug of complex hardware.
• Expertise in functional, stress, performance, and compliance testing (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB).
• Proficiency with test equipment and data analysis, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex electrical test plans for server, storage, and networking hardware.
• Lead debug and root cause analysis of electrical failures at component, board, and system levels.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure testability and quality.
• Develop and automate test scripts using Python, C++, or LabVIEW for data acquisition and analysis.
• Analyze test data, generate reports, and provide recommendations for design improvements.
• Evaluate and select appropriate test equipment, fixtures, and instrumentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices within the testing team.
• Stay current with industry trends and participate in design reviews, FMEAs, and DFM activities.
• Perform signal integrity and power integrity measurements to ensure compliance.
