Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5–6 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience reading electrical drawings and working with medium voltage systems.
• Knowledge of switchgear and MCCs.
• Ability to travel for training (Reserve, LA) for 3–6 months.
• Must own a complete set of electrical tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, troubleshoots and repairs electrical systems and equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance on electrical distribution systems (up to 24–12kV).
• Installs, tests and coordinates electrical work with engineers and contractors.
• Travels to customer sites as needed for modifications and maintenance.
