Job summary

Medxcel is seeking a Building Maintenance professional at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. The role runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, full-time, within the Facilities department.

You will troubleshoot electrical systems, perform upgrades, and maintain compliance with NFPA, NEC, and TJC codes, while supporting energy management across sites. Health benefits, retirement plans, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting skills for complex system failures and electrical issues.
• Knowledge of NFPA/NEC/TJC codes and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots complex system failures and installs electrical upgrades.
• Creates preventative maintenance schedules and monthly reports for electrical infrastructure compliance.
• Responds to after-hours safety emergencies and develops contingency protocols for power outages.
• Coordinates energy management tasks and potentially travels regionally for multi-site electrical services.
