Job summary

Hydraquip is seeking an Electrical Technician to support growth of its electric systems business. You will assist with hardware installation, panel fabrication and panel solutions to address challenging issues.

Responsibilities include reading general arrangement drawings, back panel layouts, and cut-out drawings; installing electrical hardware and mounting external components; and ensuring project quality and safety per ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience in installation and assembly of electrical/hydraulic systems preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality practices is advantageous.
• Strong communication with engineering and shop floor teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist hardware installation and panel fabrication for electrical systems.
• Interpret general arrangement, back panel and cut-out drawings accurately.
• Install and mount external hardware such as displays and switches.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and quality standards (ISO 9001).
• Operate shop tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve design challenges.
