Job summary

GME, an electrical, security, and structured cabling contractor, seeks an Electrical Technician 3 to install electrical systems in new construction, upfits, and remodels.

You will work under a foreman, perform conduit and wiring tasks, read drawings, ensure safety, and maintain tools. Candidates with 5 years of field experience and ability to meet weekly foreman goals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience completing project installation of electrical systems in the commercial electrical industry.
• Experience working in the field completing assigned tasks and functions.
• Experience with trade inspections, dealing with various jurisdictions and inspectors.
• Associated trade certifications are beneficial but are not required.

Responsibilities

• Measure, bend, thread and install electrical conduit (MC/EMT, rigid raceways, PVC) at grade or elevated heights.
• Set up for wire install, pull wire and operate wire tuggers.
• Terminate panels, set fixtures, install devices, and install cable tray.
• Be well organized, able to work efficiently and demonstrate good time management skills.
• Ensure safe work practices and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
• Maintain a personal tool cache including hand tools, drill, drivers and attachments.
