Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Fletcher, NC is seeking an experienced Electronic Technician IV - Maintenance for a 3rd shift in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting.

The role focuses on keeping production equipment reliable through preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, system improvements and automation support. You will troubleshoot electrical control systems, work with PLC/SCADA, drive systems and instrumentation while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Trade Test as an Electrician or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Strong PLC and SCADA proficiency with Allen Bradley systems and Siemens tools.
• Solid knowledge of industrial instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems across the plant.
• Diagnose and repair PLC, SCADA, drive and control system faults.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Update technical documentation including P&IDs and drawings.
• Support production by improving process reliability and procedures.
• Identify safety risks and report them promptly.
