Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Specialist for our Morristown, TN facility on a 3rd shift manufacturing team. You will perform skilled maintenance on CNC machines, forging presses, furnaces, and robotic systems, ensuring equipment reliability and safety compliance.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, continuous improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold quality and productivity in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Experience maintaining CNC machines, forging presses, furnaces, SPM and robots.
Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and mechanical drawings.
Familiarity with CNC machine architecture and maintenance techniques.
Experience with Fanuc robots is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety by stopping work and reporting hazards.
Maintain and improve equipment uptime through preventive maintenance.
Collaborate with team to improve manufacturing processes and quality.
Follow environmental and safety standards in daily tasks.
Coach others and support training for new maintenance staff.
