System Fabrication & Wiring: Wire, layout, and conduit-pipe three-phase motors, motor starters, VFDs, PLC-based control systems, and industrial control panels to NEC standards.
Testing & Commissioning: Energize custom skid packages, perform equipment startup, flow/operational testing, and verify Sequences of Operation.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Independently diagnose and resolve electrical, controls, instrumentation, and industrial communication issues before shipment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, fabrication technicians, and project managers to review schematics, complete quality control documentation, and ensure projects hit deadlines safely.
Experience: 5–6+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience with pumping systems, hydronic systems, HVAC equipment, or packaged mechanic systems. Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent trade apprenticeship preferred.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience wiring and troubleshooting 3-phase motors, VFDs, control valves, PLCs, and instrumentation. Familiar with performing equipment startup, commissioning and operational testing.
Schematics & Codes: Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex electrical wiring diagrams, control schematics, panel layouts, and P&IDs while adhering strictly to NEC codes.
Equipment Safety: Comfortable operating standard fabrication tools, conduit benders, and equipment (forklifts/cranes) safely. Clean driving record required.
