Job summary

California Hydronics Corp in Hayward, CA is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician, Journeyman, or Controls Specialist to join our fabrication team. You will read schematics, wire panels, and troubleshoot VFDs/PLCs to NEC standards while contributing to robust, safe mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• 5–6+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience with pumping systems, hydronic systems, HVAC equipment, or packaged mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Wire, layout, and conduit-pipe three-phase motors, motor starters, VFDs, PLC-based control systems, and electrical panels to NEC standards.
• Energize and test skid packages, perform equipment startup, flow/operational testing, and verify sequences of operation.
• Independently diagnose and resolve electrical, controls, instrumentation, and industrial communication issues before shipment.
• Collaborate with engineering, fabrication technicians, and project managers to review schematics and ensure deadlines.
