Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Journeyman electrical license is required.
• Oilfield experience 3–5 years preferred.
• OSHA 1910.269 qualification up to 600V.
• Able to understand mechanical relay logic and ladder logic.
• Knowledge of NEC and OSHA standards.
• Experience with 4160 VAC systems.
• Understanding MCC operation.
• Substation knowledge.
• Proficient with computers.
• Team oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Conditional job offers require background, drug test, MVR, fit for duty and agility.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair switchboard control panels and components.
• Program ladder logic and VFDs.
• Read installation drawings, circuit schedules, plans, and motor schematics.
• Use test equipment for troubleshooting.
• Safely supervise electrical contract work.
• Interface with electrical engineers and energy providers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on low voltage equipment.
• Work with 4160 VAC systems.
• Overhead power line troubleshooting.
