Job summary

Danos, LLC in Texas is seeking an Oilfield Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and production equipment in an oilfield setting.

You will perform preventive maintenance, replace motors and VFDs, read schematics, work with PLC signals, and document repairs in SAP, while adhering to LOTO and safety procedures. Travel between field locations on a 7-on/7-off schedule and respond to after-hours callouts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Oilfield electrical maintenance experience required.
• Experience with motors, VFDs, transformers, and generators.
• Experience with system voltages up to 480V and medium-voltage equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, one-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with multimeters, megohmmeters, and electrical testing devices.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS for work orders and maintenance docs.
• Texas Journeyman Electrician License preferred or eligibility to obtain within 12 months.
• Strong knowledge of LOTO, safety permits, and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and oilfield equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and replace motors, VFDs, contactors, relays, and transformers.
• Read electrical schematics, one-line and wiring diagrams, and equipment docs.
• Troubleshoot control circuits, 4–20 mA loops, and PLC field signals.
• Support medium-voltage equipment related to ESP and gas lift operations.
• Start up equipment, commission, and respond to after-hours callouts as needed.
• Replace pole-mounted fuses with hot sticks when required.
• Document work in SAP, update maintenance records, and communicate issues.
• Follow LOTO, permits, JSAs, JSPs, and proper electrical PPE; travel between sites.
