Job summary

Lam Research Corporation in California seeks an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the Electrical Engineering Systems Integration team supporting next‑gen semiconductor process equipment.

You will mentor engineers, guide system requirements, design approaches, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and collaborate with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to meet reliability and performance targets.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant engineering experience in semiconductor capital equipment or a related complex-equipment industry.
• 6–8 years of engineering management experience.
• Proven success leading engineering teams in fast-paced product-development environments.
• Strong technical background in complex electrical systems integration, control systems, AC/DC power distribution, embedded systems, and design.
• Hands-on experience with analog and digital circuit design and PCBA development.
• Knowledge of SEMI S2/S22, NFPA 79, NEC, UL, IEC and related standards.
• Experience with external suppliers and contract manufacturers for PCBA and related assemblies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of electrical engineers responsible for design, development, integration and release of complex electrical systems.
• Provide technical and organizational leadership throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Define system requirements, design approaches, integration, testing, troubleshooting and decision making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and partner organizations to meet system-level requirements.
• Develop the technical capabilities of the organization, mentoring engineers and leaders and advancing processes and training.
