Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with emphasis in power electronics, power conversion, or electric drives.

Aufgaben

• Own system-level requirements flow-down for digital power conversion hardware and ensure traceability throughout the design lifecycle.
• Document design decisions, analyses, and test outcomes through formal reports and technical reviews.
• Lead architecture and detailed design of digital power conversion, including high‑voltage, high‑power aerospace applications.
• Plan and execute verification and validation of digital power hardware and systems, including environmental, functional, and performance tests.
• Define insulation coordination and HV design rules to meet safety and reliability expectations.
• Design and review PCBs and schematics for power stages using Mentor Graphics and Altium.
• Lead high‑voltage testing and qualification activities including partial discharge tests.
• Develop automated test benches and lab infrastructure for digital power testing, with emphasis on safety.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to early career engineers in power converter design and system integration.
• Contribute to proposals and roadmaps for TMS control systems and digital power architectures.
