Job summary

Motion Solutions seeks a Systems Engineer Electrical to lead design, development, and integration of electrical control systems for motion projects. You will manage panels, wiring diagrams, schematics, BOMs, and interfaces while coordinating with engineering, production, sales, and customers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of related experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, Vault, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in electrical/controls engineering, automation, or system design.
• Experience developing electrical designs, control panels, wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOMs.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, Vault, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical engineering projects through design, build, testing, commissioning, and production handoff.
• Develop electrical designs for panels, wiring diagrams, schematics, power distribution, sensors, drives, PLC/HMI interfaces, and related components.
• Support design reviews, code compliance reviews, and troubleshooting to meet customer and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, sales, and customers to resolve technical questions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

5+ years experience in electrical/controls engineering
