Job summary

DZYNE Technologies in Irvine, CA seeks a Senior Electrical Sustaining/Integration Engineer to own full lifecycle support of aircraft and launcher electrical systems. You will investigate field issues, develop test fixtures, and drive system integration for avionics and electronics with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated capability in troubleshooting, validating, and analyzing electronic components/subsystems/systems.
• Understanding of Analog/Mixed-signal, Digital, or RF circuit components.
• Hands-on experience with hardware/firmware/software integration.
• Detailed working knowledge of common test equipment.
• Experience with test automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation of field failures/issues on flight hardware and drive root-cause analysis to closure.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex circuits/components/PCBs and avionics subsystems. Support system level integration.
• Define test strategies. Develop automated and semi-automated test solutions involving test equipment/fixtures and software design.
• Assist with EOL component replacement and provide guidance on design improvements.
• Support design updates driven by product improvements, obsolescence, and evolving requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to support new product development and active deployments in a fast-paced environment.
