Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – System Owner to join the Facilities & Engineering group. You will own the safe, reliable operation and lifecycle management of an electrical system, with oversight of risks and regulatory compliance.

The role includes design support, fault management, performance monitoring, and collaboration with customers and EHSS. Travel up to 10% is possible and on-site availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Engineering experience.
• Associate’s degree and 8 years of Engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Engineering experience.
• Master’s degree and 2 years of Engineering experience.
• Doctorate degree

Responsibilities

• Support the electrical system's design and equipment selection from an electrical perspective.
• Coordinate response to faults, outages, and incidents; ensure corrective actions.
• Monitor reliability, defects, overdue actions, and emerging risks; prioritize corrections.
• Lead engineering assessments, equipment modifications, and supporting runs for new product introductions.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support to ensure plant reliability and regulatory compliance.
