Job summary

Atkinson is seeking a Journeyman Electrician in Wyoming to install, maintain, and repair temporary and permanent electrical systems for a 13.2kV project power system, sub stations, and tunnel lighting. You will troubleshoot Digger Shield components, tunnel ventilation, dewatering pumps, and install fiber optic networks.

A valid Wyoming journeyman license and OSHA 30 are required; 20-on/10-off rotation is expected.

Qualifications

Must have a valid Journeyman Electrician License (Wyoming reciprocity eligible).
5+ years of experience in industrial or heavy civil electrical construction.
High Voltage: experience terminating, splicing, and maintaining 15kV distribution systems.
Low Voltage & Comms: 480V/120V systems, PLC controls, fiber optic splicing/termination for tunnel systems.
Must be willing to work a 20-days-on / 10-days-off rotation.
OSHA 30 certification; pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair temporary and permanent electrical systems, including 13.2kV project power system, substations, and tunnel lighting.
Troubleshoot and maintain Digger Shield electrical components, tunnel ventilation fans, and dewatering pumps.
Install and maintain project-wide fiber optic communication networks and data lines.
Keep work areas clean and organized; ensure NEC, MSHA, and OSHA standards are met.
Maintain daily logs, safety and inspection reports, and project reports; uphold health and safety culture.
