Job summary

GDC Industrial, Inc. seeks an Electrical Superintendent (E8) to oversee multiple electrical crews on industrial and commercial construction projects.

You will coordinate manpower, scheduling, safety, and quality, focusing on execution and leadership rather than hands-on work. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specs, resolving design conflicts, enforcing NEC compliance, mentoring foremen, and guiding safety programs.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program.
• State-issued Journeyman Electrician license where applicable.
• 10+ years of progressive electrical trade experience with multi-crew supervision.
• Strong knowledge of NEC code and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate multiple electrical crews and foremen.
• Plan manpower allocation to meet project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate work sequencing with project management, other trades, and clients.
• Review drawings, specs, and schedules to ensure proper execution.
• Enforce safety policies and lead JHAs and toolbox talks.
• Mentor foremen, track labor performance, and report progress to leadership.
• Ensure NEC compliance and support inspections and commissioning.
