Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with six to nine years related experience.
• Journeyman or Master license/certificate required.
• OSHA 30-hour training completed.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints and codes.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plans layout, installs, and repairs wiring, fixtures, and control equipment per codes.
• Plans installations to minimize waste and ensure maintenance access.
• Reads diagrams and templates to place concealed wiring correctly.
• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, and installs electrical conduit.
• Pulls wiring through conduit with electrician helper and tests for safety.
• Splices wires and connects wiring to lighting and power equipment.
• Installs switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels; tests circuit continuity.
• Supervises multiple craft crews and ensures on-site productivity.
