Ace Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on large electrical construction projects in the Charlotte and greater Central NC region.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and high-quality work, with opportunities to relocate or join local teams in NC. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in electrical construction, NEC knowledge, and proven leadership of multi-trade crews; travel and relocation support is available as part of Ace Electric’s growth

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Journeyman Electrician status and/or Apprenticeship completion preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and safety standards (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Ability to manage fast-paced, complex projects and large field teams.

About The Role

The Electrical Superintendent will lead field operations for large electrical construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and at the highest quality standards.

This role is ideal for experienced field leaders who thrive in fast-paced, high-profile construction environments and are passionate about developing teams, driving productivity, and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all field personnel assigned to electrical construction projects
• Manage day-to-day field operations
• Coordinate manpower, production schedules, materials, tooling, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with NEC requirements, project specifications, and company standards
• Drive project safety performance and enforce company safety policies
• Conduct field planning, scheduling, reporting, and daily coordination meetings
• Support project productivity, quality control, and budget goals
• Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, and customers
• Mentor foremen, electricians, and field leadership teams
• Support fabrication and prefabrication opportunities to improve efficiency
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and field communication

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

• 6+ years of electrical construction experience
• Prior Superintendent or Foreman leadership experience preferred
• Strong experience in:
• Commercial Electrical Construction
• Industrial Electrical Construction
• Distribution Centers
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• OSHA 30 Certification
• CPR and First Aid training preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage fast-paced, complex construction projects
• Experience coordinating large field teams and multiple trades
• Proficient with construction technology, documentation, and reporting systems

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass preemployment screenings
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Journeyman Electrician status and/or Apprenticeship completion preferred
• 4+ years of Electrical Superintendent experience commercial and/or industrial projects
