Ace Electric, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on large commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects.

You will ensure safety, schedule, quality, and coordination with Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors. Ideal candidates have 4+ years as Electrical Superintendent, Journeyman status preferred, NEC knowledge, OSHA 30, and strong leadership to mentor foremen and crews while driving productivity on fast-paced

• 4+ years of Electrical Superintendent experience on commercial/industrial projects.
• Journeyman Electrician status preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and direct all field personnel assigned to electrical construction projects.
• Manage day-to-day field operations.
• Coordinate manpower, production schedules, materials, tooling, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with NEC requirements, project specifications, and company standards.
• Drive project safety performance and enforce company safety policies.
• Conduct field planning, scheduling, reporting, and daily coordination meetings.
• Support project productivity, quality control, and budget goals.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
• Mentor foremen, electricians, and field leadership teams.
• Support fabrication and prefabrication opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and field communication.

About The Role

The Electrical Superintendent will lead field operations for large electrical construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and at the highest quality standards.

This role is ideal for experienced field leaders who thrive in fast-paced, high-profile construction environments and are passionate about developing teams, driving productivity, and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all field personnel assigned to electrical construction projects
• Manage day-to-day field operations
• Coordinate manpower, production schedules, materials, tooling, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with NEC requirements, project specifications, and company standards
• Drive project safety performance and enforce company safety policies
• Conduct field planning, scheduling, reporting, and daily coordination meetings

• Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, and customers
• Mentor foremen, electricians, and field leadership teams
• Support fabrication and prefabrication opportunities to improve efficiency

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

• 6+ years of electrical construction experience
• Prior Superintendent or Foreman leadership experience preferred
• Strong experience preferred in:
• Commercial Electrical Construction
• Mission Critical Projects
• Industrial Electrical Construction
• Distribution Centers
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• OSHA 30 Certification
• CPR and First Aid training preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage fast-paced, complex construction projects
• Experience coordinating large field teams and multiple trades
• Proficient with construction technology, documentation, and reporting systems

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass preemployment screenings
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Journeyman Electrician status and/or Apprenticeship completion preferred
• 4+ years of Electrical Superintendent experience commercial and/or industrial projects

Working Conditions

This position requires working in active construction environments and may include:

• Travel assignments
• Extended work hours and overtime
• Night shifts as required
• Exposure to varying weather and jobsite conditions
• Work at elevated heights and within restricted workspaces
