Job summary

General Dynamics – Bath Iron Works is seeking a Senior Facilities Scheduler, Electrical to plan, schedule, and coordinate electrical maintenance, repairs, and capital projects at our Bath shipyard. You will contribute to facility reliability, workforce productivity, and continuous process improvement.

Under the BOS, you will ensure safety, quality, and performance standards, coordinate with facilities maintenance, engineering, operations, and procurement, and manage outages to minimize

Qualifications

• + High School Diploma or GED is required.
• + BIW Graduate Apprentice or Associate's Degree preferred.
• + Journeyman or Master Electrician License preferred.
• + Reading and understanding schematics, drawings, and manuals.
• + Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares methods, manning, and material packages and coordination of scheduling for completion.
• Maintains CMMS to manage repair and PM work orders; tracks status and backlog.
• Supports safety planning: LOTO, PPE, permits, and risk assessments.
• Develops planning procedures and templates; supports training initiatives.
• Coordinates with Facilities Maintenance Groups, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, contractors, and union leadership.
