Job summary

Adams Electric Company is seeking a Safety Superintendent to lead safety programs across electrical construction projects. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC and other standards, mentor site safety staff, and drive a proactive safety culture.

You will coordinate site audits, investigations and training, while tracking indicators and implementing corrective actions with project teams. This is a senior safety leadership role in Charleston, SC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of safety experience in electrical or industrial construction with at least 3 years in supervision.
• OSHA 500 or 510; CHST, CSP or equivalent certification preferred; First Aid/CPR; NFPA 70E training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor safety staff across project sites, serving as the primary safety liaison.
• Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans for electrical construction.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC and other standards across projects.
• Coordinate safety training, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
• Identify hazards early and drive corrective actions with subcontractors and teams.
