Job summary

Intertek USA in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Senior Project Engineer-Electrical Safety to join our Industrial Electrical team. You will independently perform testing and evaluation to U.S., Canadian and other international standards, write reports, and communicate with clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 4+ years hands-on lab testing/product compliance experience.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license and safe driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as business needs dictate.
• Strong communication and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and determine applicability of national codes and standards clauses.
• Develop and set up test plans and perform testing on products.
• Mentor less senior personnel and provide client communications.
• Prepare reports and quotations for standards and projects.
• Represent Intertek on industry committees when needed.
