Job summary

Lumicity in Houston seeks a Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer to support electrical equipment and infrastructure across industrial gas plants. The role focuses on reliability, maintenance, and SME recommendations to keep operations optimal.

You will troubleshoot across ASU/CO2/H2/He systems, review data and CBM tools, perform pre-start testing, assess contractor competency, and approve PMs and procedures while traveling up to 40% of the year.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
Willingness to travel 25-40% of the time (60-80 nights per year).
Experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of low/medium/high voltage substations, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and motors.
Experience in troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying problem components.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and maintenance support to electrical plants within the fleet for all electrical issues.
Assess the effectiveness of existing CBM tools and review reliability reports and data.
Perform full loop checks and functional testing of equipment prior to plant startup.
Assess the technical competency of electrical contractors and service providers.
Create or review and approve electrical PMs, work instructions, and related procedures.
